Lin Hwai-min is Founder and Artistic Director of the Cloud Gate Dance Theatre of Taiwan who was awarded an ACC fellowship in 1978 to support his participation in the American Dance Festival and dance training in New York. He is now a world renowned choreographer and the Cloud Gate Dance Theatre of Taiwan has become as one of the leading dance companies on the international scene. In 2006, Mr. Lin received the John D. Rockefeller 3rd from the ACC in recognition of his significant contribution towards the international understanding, practice and study of the performing arts of Asia.
